Schematic layers can be saved to create different design configurations for debugging initial design functionality, regression testing, production, military standard, PCB layout, etc. Design changes invoked in one configuration are automatically propagated to all other versions, thus saving time and optimizing design management. SpiceNet even displays operating point data, waveforms, and user-created artwork and text directly on the schematic at the click of the mouse. It also includes footprint information for operation with the Bartels AutoEngineer PCB layout and route software. Of course ICAP/4Windows features the industry's legendary "IsSpice4" analog and mixed-signal simulation kernel, including countless enhancements for optimum DC convergence, speed and handling tough designs. An extensive set of more than 21,200 component models is included in ICAP/4 Windows. You won't experience usual production fallout because advanced verification analyses such as Monte Carlo, worst case, extreme value and nested component sweeping are provided in ICAP/4Windows. Also, the industry's only "set button to set or sweep component values" while simultaneously viewing real-time waveforms makes debugging almost as easy as tweaking a volume control. ICAP/4Windows furnishes a rich set of features inside the industry's most powerful waveform viewer (IntuScope), including a calculator of 150 useful waveform-processing functions. All ICAP/4 verification analyses and custom waveform processing calls are scripted so the user can optionally customize their functionality. Even a design optimization program that provides automatic calculation of discrete part values to meet a desired design objective (i.e., gain-bandwidth, overshoot limit, phase margin), and pole/zero analysis are provided in ICAP/4Windows.
