operate from a netlist and perform a standard set of simulations; AC,
DC, TRAN, etc
Intusoft adapted a scripting language originated
by Berkeley SPICE. Berkeley couldnt evolve the language to a complete
level of utility, so Intusoft did.
Intusofts scripting language is extensive and available for the
user. It enables custom post-processing of design simulation results.
This provides a wealth of value to the user. For example, automatic
scripts from Intusoft enable the prescription of several types of electrical
measurements, and limits, throughout a design. Scripts provide the numerical
results to be charted, including histograms for design limits or component
out-of-spec violations. Other scripts provide new types of analysis
such as Root Summed Square and Transient Sensitivity. Others include
a wealth of waveform post-processing (calculator) functions. These existing
scripts can be used as is, or modified by the user. New scripts can
also be assembled from an extensive command set for any custom simulation,
design verification or waveform processing function.

Simulation
Templates were invented by Intusoft to integrate
its Interactive Command Language (ICL) scripts with the IsSpice4 netlist
builder, to make new analysis types that apply to a class of problems.
Simulation Templates control netlist options and mark insertion points
for simulation control directives. These templates are easily edited
by the user to create custom report formats, or to modify an analysis
based on a designer's special needs. Extensions to optimization, what-if,
and sneak circuit analysis are possible.
