IsEd5 is an ASCII text editor similar to Microsoft's Notepad, but enhanced to work with spice netlists.

The advantage of IsEd5 over Notepad are:

• No text file size limit.
• Open multiple text files at the same time and tile the windows.
• Split a window to work on two separate sections of the same file.
• Standard and Find toolbars make many operations just a button click.
• Links with all ICAPS modules. Open the active project cir, err, out file or change between ICAPS programs with a button click.
• Context Sensitive Help, select any netlist line and get help on the syntax used. Example- select a line that starts with "R" and get help on resistors.
• Select any "*INCLUDE" file and launch the selected file.
