New ICAP/4 version 8.x.7 with Enhanced
Features
San Pedro, CA (November 15, 1999)
Intusoft today
announced the latest release of its popular analog and mixed-signal
circuit design tool, ICAP/4, adding new features and enhancements
to the already successful ICAP/4 family of products.
ICAP/4 is the industrys
best SPICE simulation package for analog and mixed-signal circuit
design. The ICAP/4 integrated software package combines the
innovation of IsSpice4 technology, the power of the SpiceNet schematic
entry program, the versatility of the IntuScope waveform viewer,
and ease of our vast model libraries, all designed to make analog
and mixed-signal circuit design faster, easier, and more cost-effective.
The integrated ICAP/4 software package includes:
- IsSpice4, a mixed-signal simulator,
already widely accepted as a superior tool for its ability to
simulate power designs at various levels of detail. Over 21,000
engineers have been using the powerful IsSpice4 successfully
for many years to design new power supply topologies and control
methods.
- SpiceNet, a powerful and user-friendly
schematic capture tool which provides a design creation and editing
environment that can handle complex electrical designs as well
as mixed-technology designs. SpiceNets reconfigurable
schematics and design validation tools provide the user with
design accuracy and versatility.
- IntuScope, an interactive graphical
waveform-processing program especially designed to display and
analyze IsSpice output data.
New Features and Enhancements
The latest version of ICAP/4,
version 8.x.7, adds useful new features as well as several enhancements
to the much sought-after software package. The additions to version
8.x.7 of ICAP/4 include:
- A new Find function
allows the user to quickly find and highlight any part or node
in a drawing. This is particularly useful for complex or multi-page
drawings.
- A new Display feature
in SpiceNet provides quick one-click toggle on/off capability
for Pin Numbers, Part Labels, Node numbers and labels, OP Values,
Waveforms and Artwork.
- A window resizing
option when saving preferences is now offered in IsEd, the ICAP/4
text editor.
- AC cross-probing
of primitive device current is now supported in ICAP/4.
- Simulation of read-only drawing
files (.DWG files) has been added.
The list price of ICAP/4 products
start as low as $995.00 and varies depending on the package selected.
ICAP/4 requires Windows 95/98 or Windows NT and a minimum of
16meg of RAM. One year of product maintenance is included in
the purchase price.
